Your Voice Matters
This is an important community decision on the future of public safety. As part of the general election on November 5, Hibbing voters will consider a single ballot question to approve using a local half-percent sales tax to build a new regional public safety center.
Three Ways to Vote on the Local Sale Tax Referendum

Vote Early In Person
Hibbing residents will be able to vote early at Hibbing City Hall, 401 E. 21st St., Hibbing, starting Friday, September 20, 2024, through Monday, November 4, 2024.
Voters can cast their ballot from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Vote Early From Home
Requested absentee ballots will be mailed out beginning Friday, September 20, 2024.
Completed absentee ballots must be returned to the same office from which ballot applications were requested.
Absentee ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on Election Day (November 5, 2024) to be counted.

Vote on Election Day
Residents can vote at their local polling place as part of the general election on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
